Rules for using the courts
Clients aged 16 and over may use the courts on their own. Clients under 16 may use the courts only under the supervision of an adult.
Krzycka Park is not liable for accidents occurring while using or staying on the court premises. By buying a ticket or pass for the courts, the Client declares that they are fit to play tennis and take part at their own risk (legal basis: Regulation of the Minister of National Education of 12 September 2001, Journal of Laws No. 101, item 1095).
Every client must report to the court reception before starting play in order to pay the fee, find out which court has been assigned and agree the start and end time of the game.
Court fees are set out in the price list. Court fees are charged according to the relevant time zone, in proportion to the time spent on the court.
A payment that has not been used through the Client's own fault is non-refundable.
A Client may cancel a court booking no later than 24 hours before play. If the booking is not cancelled or is cancelled too late, the Client is required to pay the rental fee.
Krzycka Park reserves the right to change the assigned court.
If the temperature in the tennis hall is low (below 10°C), the Client decides whether to start and continue play. If the Client does not withdraw and notify the reception staff within 10 minutes of the start of play, the game is treated as played and the amount paid is not refunded. If the Client withdraws because of the low temperature, Krzycka Park undertakes to reschedule the game to another available slot.
An hour of play consists of 55 minutes of playing time and 5 minutes for tidying the court: levelling, watering and cleaning the lines.
Only club staff may switch the court lighting on and off.
Tennis shoes (smooth tread and soft edges) and sportswear are required on the courts.
Clients using the courts may use the changing rooms and showers on the premises.
Court users are asked not to leave valuables in the changing rooms. Krzycka Park is not liable for any theft in the changing rooms or on the court premises.
Dogs are allowed on the premises only on a lead, and the owner bears full responsibility for any damage or accidents caused by the dog's behaviour.
While on court, the Client is required to behave appropriately and courteously so that people on neighbouring courts can play.
A maximum of 4 people may play on a court during a booked hour. If more than 4 people use the court, an additional charge of 50% of the rental price applies for each extra person.
Smoking, lighting barbecues and drinking alcohol are prohibited on the court premises.
Clients who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants will be asked to leave the courts and barred from further use of the Club's services, with no refund of costs incurred.
Riding motorcycles or bicycles and driving cars on the premises is prohibited.
Booking a court constitutes acceptance of these court rules.
These rules have been in force since 1 March 2015.
